How was the season opener at COTA?
COTA was almost perfect. Quicker all the practice sessions and qualified on the pole. I won race one and third and Race #2. I was very happy with the weekend! It was definitely one of my best weekends ever.
How did you get into racing?
My family started Club racing when I was about eight years old I’ve been hooked ever since.
What is your favorite racing memory?
Tough question there are too many good memories to pick out just one.. But if I had to it would be our last race at COTA because it was such a good weekend for me and the team.
What’s the story behind your helmet design?
I have never been able to afford a helmet design.
Something interesting about you or a hidden talent?
I love taking my old Volkswagen Thing on off-roading adventures.
If you could invite 3 people to dinner who would it be and why?
Elan Musk, Kimi Räikkönen and Ricky Carmichael because they’re powerful in their own ways!
You get to bring your son to the track occasionally. What’s it like to be able to have him there with you on a weekend?
It’s very special to me to have him there and hard to explain but he helps me dig a little bit deeper and makes the weekends extra special!!
