This is with reference to above item description supplier have quoted US$ 6.90 and after due approval of drawing we have given go ahead and made 30% payment to you against your Performa- Invoice. This is the normal practice and business is conducted in good faith like this only. We have not bargained in price and accepted price believing that material will be supplied as per drawing and in full quantity.
Ordered consignment was for our client UNITED NATION, to be delivered in Juba, South Sudan. When consignment reached Juba only 792 nos. of ground piles and 2 nos. of drivers were reached and received by client. What so ever material has reached to client is also not as per drawing as total length is 1300 mm instead of 1500 mm and threading length is 490 mm instead of 1000 mm so same is rejected. As material was stuffed at suppliers factory and BL given by you clearly states AS 6X40` HQ STC, SHIPPERS LOAD & COUNT SAID TO CONTAIN SCREW PILE DRIVER 20 NOS. AND GROUND PILES 15000 NOS.
Supplier has given us BL, Commercial Invoice & Packing list. Supplier fails to provide Shipping Bill, Stuffing Report, Weighing Slips and any other document to prove that material was stuffed in full quantity. We have mailed and followed up but supplier is not forthcoming to the point and were abusive, threatening mailing all sorts of stuff but not providing documents. Discrepancy report from client is attached. Client is not a private party it is UNITED NATIONS of this China is vetoed member and donator. We made every attempt to sort this but got only evasive reply.
